Kepo is a small app, currently in private testing. If something is wrong, write to support@getkepo.com.

What helps most

• If it looked wrong (a screen that is cut off, a word that reads badly, a place with the wrong name): a screenshot and one sentence.
• If it behaved wrong (a share that did not save, a visit that was never noticed, an answer that vanished): what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. If it was a shared post, the link to the post is the single most useful thing you can include.

Your data

Kepo keeps what you save on your phone and in your account on Kepo's server, so it comes back on a new phone. You can delete your account and its saved data from your account screen in the app. The Privacy Policy explains the limited information retained after deletion. Questions about your data go to the same address. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is held, and where.

Copyright reports and disputed removals

If you own copyright or are authorized to act for its owner, email support@getkepo.com with the subject Copyright report. Include:

• Your name, a reply address and whether you are the owner or act for the owner.
• The copyrighted work you are identifying, with its original link or another clear description.
• The exact Kepo material or source link you want reviewed, with enough detail for us to find it. A screenshot can help.
• Why you believe the use is unauthorized, and your physical or electronic signature.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the reported use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law, and that the notice is accurate. If making a formal U.S. copyright notice, also state under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act for the owner.

We will check reports and the support inbox daily. We prioritize urgent safety and rights concerns, ask for clarification when needed, and review the exact material before deciding on action. We do not promise that every case can be resolved within a day. We keep a case record and review repeated confirmed infringement; a report alone does not establish a violation.

On Kepo's server, a validated restriction can stop further automatic processing of the identified source and remove affected source excerpts and reused interpretations from processing and caches. This cannot remotely erase copies already downloaded to a phone. An independently saved place, its address, or a person's own notes are not automatically deleted just because a source post becomes unavailable. The information affected by a particular notice depends on the rights and material identified.

If you think a removal was mistaken, reply with the case reference and your explanation. We will explain any formal counter-notice requirements that apply. A U.S. statutory counter-notice can require a legal name, address, telephone number, signature, statements about the mistake and consent to the relevant court's jurisdiction. Information in a formal notice or counter-notice may need to be shared with the other party. Do not send identity documents or unrelated personal information unless we explain why they are needed.
